Peter John Bell Clarricoats CBE, FREng, FRS (born 6 April 1932) is a British engineer, and was Professor of Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary, University of London from 1968 to 1997.〔http://www.elec.qmul.ac.uk/department/staff/academic/pjbc.htm〕 He was vice-president of the Institution of Electrical Engineers, from 1989 to 1991.〔http://www.debretts.com/people/biographies/browse/c/4997/Peter+John.aspx〕 He was vice-president and treasurer of URSI (the International Union of Radio Science) from 1993 to 1999.〔http://www.ursi.org〕 He was appointed a Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering in 1983. He was educated at Minchenden Grammar School and Imperial College London.
